Countdown to Book Launch July 31, 2025!

Welcome back to The Night Club in Las Vegas!

The Night Club is about to become a wedding venue! A few months after Thickened Line's lead singer, Mitch Restin, fell in love with his new co-owner Dina, Sean Davis enters The Night Club ready to drag his band mate back to LA. Sean is not prepared to find Amber, the raspy voiced club manager who doesn't seem deterred by his attitude.

They can't deny their instant attraction but Sean doesn't do relationships. Amber's been a Liner, a fan-girl for Thickened Line, since she was in high school. She's only ever been in love with one man and even that man knew about her crush on the drummer. Sean and Amber enjoy one steamy night together, then Sean heads back to LA, alone.

It's not like he can avoid Amber forever, she's the fiancĂ©'s best friend and she's going to be the maid of honor at Mitch Restin's wedding. Sean could avoid the event altogether, yet he is Mitch's best friend and  the best man.

Sean still intends to avoid Amber as much as possible. When Mitch tells him a stalker has been following Amber and Dina, Sean can't ignore her. He also can't ignore Damion, the owner of the security company Mitch has hired to protect the women.

Damion is tall and muscular with dark hair and beard. He's a former Marine and interestingly enough, Amber's former fiance. Damion makes it clear he's into both Amber and Sean. Raised in a hippy commune on the outskirts of Vegas, Damion is all about polyamory. With his new job at The Night Club, it seems he has two goals; apprehend a stalker and convince Sean and Amber that a three-way relationship can work.

Quotes from each character:

"I don't expect anything from you beyond this night. I've wanted you since before I can remember. Whatever happens, you'll get no complaints from me. Now, are you coming inside or are we doing this in my car?" - Amber

"Let's get inside. I don't want an audience." - Sean

"Get in on this, Amber-Girl," Damion said, and he pulled her in to join their kiss.

Free Reading.

Finding new authors is hard. Gimmicks are everywhere. Catchy sprayed edges, beautiful artwork that may or may not relate to the story's content, and free paraphernalia abound. Don't get me wrong, I will buy a book for the pretty cover and free matching bookmark, but sometimes I want to get a feel for the author's style before I commit to a purchase.  This is why I have a lot of writing available for free through Wattpad and Amazon KU (Kindle Unlimited). I want to give readers a taste test so they can decide for themselves if they want to invest in me. If they read my free work and decide it's not for them, no harm was done and no money was lost.  The following are short snippets of what I offer for free to my readers! Click on the links and read for yourself!
For 2026, I am participating in Wattpad's ONC'26; The Open Novella Contest. Using prompts, writers meet periodic deadlines with word counts and by the end, are judged for their novellas.  Tell It to The Necromancer  is my original work for submission. I selected the following prompts: Prompt 72: A real necromancer sits in on a fake seance.  Prompt: 78: You being to realize nothing is quite what it seems. Prompt 82: You are in love with someone living and someone long dead. Neither one is willing to let you go. Tell It to The Necromancer

Why I am Bad at This... Part 2: Too Many WIPs.

The following are the notes I wrote for this blog post:  Don't leave one WIP (work in progress) to start another. Finish what you start! Once is fine, but when the number of new WIPs approaches more than five, we have a problem. That's it. That is the whole post. If I can just master the three bullets above, I can be a better writer, a writer that finishes first drafts.  It's no secret on the internet that coming up with new ideas before finishing the current one is a universal problem among aspiring and even accomplished writers.  Psst... the secret is to discover your own personal strategy to leverage this abundance of creativity into completed tasks. These are my rules, for me. Maybe they can inspire you. Bullet Number one: Don't leave on WIP to start another.        It happens every time. Sometimes I am three chapters into my first draft and sometimes I'm 75% into the draft when the second book forces its way to the forefront of ...
